Test V60 Plug-in Hybrid: Security, united family and consumption of hand

This week we decided to invite section Autonocion.com testing a hybrid family that gives access to those drivers who want to bring the family with the performance, safety and fuel consumption. We refer to the V60 plug-in hybrid, the first diesel plug-in hybrid market and marketed by Swedish first home with this technology.

As you know, we are not very supportive of hybrid models as we usually think they are focused on urban routes, however, if we talk about plug-in hybrids, things change and after having tried this incredible unknown, our opinion has changed full.

Based on a 2015 V60 specifications, the Swedish brand presents its first plug-in hybrid model available on the market.

In the front we highlight the new configuration of the light components that now stands as the main headlights are grouped and styled on both sides of a chrome grille with the logo of the brand in large and middle position. On the left side of the grill we stumbled upon the radar system speed control.

On both sides of the grill have headlights, very similar to those currently fitted to other models in the range and is presented as one of the main innovations of this facelift. In our unit and optionally, we had xenon headlight projectors. The beam proceeds in this case of a halogen bulb.

The lower air intake also features a new design and now mounted on the upper corners a linear headlights daylight LED technology.

One aspect that gives an important nocturnal presence to the Scandinavian vehicles of this brand are side lighting lights built into the sides of the front and rear lights. At the front of this illumination color is beige and in the rear of the vehicle, the same illumination has a red color.

Following the front, at the bottom, just below the front portamatrĂculas we encounter a horizontal air inlet grid in black color contrast. It is at this point where we are with optional parking sensors that equipped our test unit and are more than advisable given the dimensions of the model under test.

The form of "V" extends to the pillars "A" by a bulge on the hood, also designed to improve the aerodynamics of the SUV.

Seen from the side, the only news that we are in the V60 Plug-in Hybrid are specific 17 "wheels mounted tires that Michelin Primacy 3 in measures 235/45 R17.

In the front flap on the left side we will run into the wall outlet and right back to the mouth of the fuel tank. To differentiate the model from the rest, Volvo has built a plaque at the base of the pillar in which we can see the Plug-in Hybrid identification. The plug socket is illuminated and has an anti-theft lock for anyone to us "grace to tune out the car."

The rear is similar to that of a conventional V60 but in this case we can appreciate the D6 AWD badge and chrome profile in which we again remember that this is a plug-in hybrid model.

The curved rear lights with LED have a thin strip that makes the model count with a Swedish firm to 100% luminous. It is a pity that the rest of the lighting comes from conventional bulbs.

The dual output integrated rectangular exhaust at the bottom of the rear bumper is also a characteristic feature of this model.

Above, our unit as optional equipment outfitting the panoramic roof that replaces the traditional sunroof. It is divided into two sections and gives the interior a feeling of spaciousness. The glass roof is tinted, laminated, it is practicable to 50% and has a sunshade.

Additionally, if you need to purchase some of the car gadgets, you could search at Banggood, which is one of the wholesale platform to provide you the low prices. Such as, volvo key fob case, volvo v70 window regulator, etc.
