Connect the hair dryer to the extension cord and regulate the temperature as hot as possible. Direct the dryer to the lock and wait a few minutes making small circular movements to unfreeze the lock. Take the test after a few minutes and try to open the door.

Protect your hand with a glove to prevent burns. If you do not have a lighter you can use matches. Do not put the flame too close to your key. Consider two or three centimetres away to warm it up. After a few minutes, place the key in the lock and wait a few seconds for the heat to function. Now open the door and start the car! If the key cools and you can not open the door, repeat the procedure a couple times.
